Nazanin Nassir founded RET Law in 2021 after practicing real estate law for over 16 years.  She has been, and continues to be, strictly a commercial real estate transactional attorney since her graduation from law school in 2004.  She focuses her practice on assisting a wide array of clients in all areas of the field, and has wide-ranging experience in the representation of office and apartment building owners and developers, hard money lenders, and hotel and shopping center owners.

Professional Experience:

Nazanin partners with clients to negotiate and properly document property acquisitions, dispositions, loans and joint venture transactions of all sizes and types. She has worked with investors on transactions ranging from single-asset deals to multi-jurisdictional portfolio acquisitions and dispositions. She represents landlords and tenants in some of the most sophisticated leasing, and subleasing transactions in major markets.  She also represents lenders in financing transactions secured by real estate across the country.

She regularly represents clients in:

• Acquisitions and Dispositions, including negotiating letters of intent, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.

• Purchaser’s Due Diligence, including analysis of title, review of title reports, ALTA surveys, and underlying title documents such as CC&R’s, and easements.

• Leasing, representing both Landlord and Tenant parties, including subleases and assignment of leases.

• Corporate Governance and Formation Documents.

• Financing, both on behalf of borrowers and lenders, including the drafting, review and negotiation of loan documents for financing of real property acquisitions and construction.

She has particular expertise in representing multi-family apartment building owners in obtaining financing from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and has negotiated countless loan agreements and ancillary documents with these lenders.

Her clients have included private equity funds, publicly traded companies, major financial institutions and individual investors.
